What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain infrastructure systems for the core SaaS platform, focusing on performance, security, reliability, and developer experience
• Collaborate with Product Engineering, SRE, and Security teams to drive infrastructure projects from concept to production
• Evaluate systems and implement improvements for scalability, resilience, and operational efficiency
• Build and manage infrastructure using IaC tools like Terraform or Pulumi, and configuration management like Ansible
• Support containerized platforms and orchestration with Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, or Nomad
• Enhance observability with monitoring, logging, alerting, and instrumentation
• Document designs and standards, mentor junior engineers, and participate in on-call rotation

Requirements

• Based in Charlotte, NC
• Significant experience in backend, DevOps, or infrastructure engineering in large-scale SaaS/PaaS/IaaS environments
• Extensive Linux production experience
• Advanced knowledge of AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Strong IaC and automation with Terraform, Pulumi, Ansible, or similar
• Expertise in Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, or Nomad
• Scripting in Bash, Python, Go, or similar
• Track record in infrastructure migrations, high-availability, or performance optimization
• Familiarity with observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or OpenTelemetry
• Excellent communication and mentoring skills
