Location: Moses Lake, WA, USA; willing to temporarily relocate until co-location with EPC contractor (location TBD) and deployment to commercial plant site. High mobility required.

Salary: USD 145/hr + Equity (contractor via agency)

What you will do

• Develop electrical FEL 1-3 deliverables and act as owner's engineer across project lifecycle.
• Design balance-of-plant electrical systems for process plants and electrolyzers.
• Interface with internal teams (process, controls, mechanical) and external EPCs, suppliers, contractors.
• Review drawings, data sheets, work packages, commissioning plans; manage 3rd-party interfaces.
• Execute electrical studies (load flow, short circuit, arc flash, harmonics).
• Support construction, commissioning, startup, and operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or higher in Electrical Engineering; 20+ years in continuous process plants.
• Expert in electrical infrastructure: substations, transformers, switchgear, MCCs, motors, VFDs, protective relaying.
• Expertise in area classification, electrical studies, IEEE/API standards.
• Experience with EPCs, owner's organizations, vendor packages, global sourcing.
• Knowledge of FEL, detailed engineering, petrochemical operations.
• High mobility: relocate to Moses Lake, WA temporarily and to plant site.
