What you will do

• Assemble components and products using hand tools, power tools, fixtures, and equipment.
• Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, schematics, and work orders for mechanical builds.
• Verify specifications and measurements with calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Conduct functional tests on assemblies to ensure proper operation.
• Inspect parts for defects and record production data and non-conformances.
• Maintain clean work area and perform basic tool maintenance following safety procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1–3 years of experience in mechanical assembly or manufacturing.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and schematics.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with assembly and measurement tools.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Work in manufacturing shop floor environment with PPE required.

Nice to have

• Experience in machining, fabrication, or mechanical repair.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles (5S, standard work).
• Familiarity with ERP or manufacturing systems.
