What you will do

• Assemble mechanical components using hand tools, power tools, and overhead cranes.
• Follow work instructions and engineering drawings for accurate builds, including torquing and alignment.
• Perform safety inspections, maintain clean work areas, and handle materials.
• Exceed production benchmarks and support team objectives.
• Collaborate with quality and engineering on process improvements and root cause analysis.
• Assist electrical assembly and participate in audits.

Requirements

• Speak and understand English fluently to communicate safety instructions and collaborate with team.
• High school diploma or GED.
• 3+ years in mechanical assembly or heavy manufacturing; wind turbine, automotive, or industrial experience preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude, blueprint reading, torque/pneumatic/hydraulic tools proficiency.
• Overhead crane certification (required); pass respiratory fit test; work at heights.
• Strong safety commitment and team-oriented mindset.

Nice to have

• Mechanical certifications or technical training.
• ISO 9000:2000 understanding.
