Senior Software Engineer (AWS Agentic AI): Build new or enhance existing Bedrock AgentCore services that are trend-setting in the Agentic AI field with an accent on scalability, efficiency, and fault tolerance. Focus on designing large scalable systems at the cutting edge of distributed database technology and solving the hardest engineering challenges to enable machine learning powered solutions.

Location: USA, WA, Bellevue (onsite)

Salary: 168,100 - 227,400 USD annually

What you will do

  • Build and enhance Bedrock AgentCore services for machine learning powered solutions.
  • Deliver large scalable systems with significant business impact.
  • Design new software systems using distributed database technology.
  • Mentor engineers and provide leadership on complex technical issues.
  • Work in a fast-moving startup environment within a large company.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language
  • 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability, scaling) of systems
  • Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or leading an engineering team
  • Location in USA, WA, Bellevue

Nice to have

  • 5+ years of full software development life cycle experience (coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, operations).
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
  • Experience with machine learning systems.
