Product Manager (Defense & Aerospace)

Location: North Reading, MA, US (Hybrid). All candidates must be US Citizen, US Permanent Resident, Asylee, Refugee or lawfully admitted under amnesty (ITAR restricted). This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Salary: $139,400–$223,100 base (eligible for discretionary bonus).

What you will do

• Lead product strategy for short- and long-term business success.
• Drive lifecycle management from new product introduction to end-of-life, including configuration, pricing, and production transitions.
• Analyze global market trends, adjacent opportunities, and competitive positioning to inform go-to-market plans.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Sales, and Support teams to align products with customer needs.
• Partner with customers and sales on test applications, proposals, pricing, and key opportunities.
• Manage forecasting, reporting, inventory decisions, and create sales collateral and enablement materials.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years in product management, product marketing, or related technical role.
• Experience in product development, manufacturing integration, and customer support.
• Ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.
• Strong analytical skills for forecasting, market analysis, and business reporting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; willingness to travel up to 20% domestically and internationally.

Nice to have

• MBA or advanced management education.
• Prior experience in Aerospace & Defense industry.
• Familiarity with PLM platforms (e.g., Teamcenter), CRM (e.g., Salesforce), and analytics tools.
