What you will do

• Partner with design, game dev, and product teams to identify opportunities and develop metrics/insights shaping game strategy.
• Collaborate with engineering to scope and capture data for insights and models.
• Transform raw data into production metrics, reports, and actionable insights.
• Evaluate and align metrics with long-term ecosystem growth.
• Design, test, and learn from experiments to improve games.
• Lead and mentor a small team of data analysts, setting analytics direction.

Requirements

• At least 5 years industry experience with proven interest in live service video games.
• At least 2 years managing a team of data professionals.
• Strong product intuition and background influencing products via data and measurement.
• Experience instrumenting data with dev teams and ensuring data quality.
• Efficient scalable SQL over billions of rows; Python analytics ecosystem.
• Understanding of experimental design and A/B testing.

Nice to have

• Spark (Scala or PySpark).
• Advanced statistical training.
• Full-stack data environment experience (ETL, storage, app dev, version control).
• Familiarity with Github, Airflow, AI coding tools.
