What you will do

• Lead data science projects from inception to completion, including scoping and on-time delivery.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for AI and machine learning.
• Design AI systems, problem framing, and governance while managing risks and issues.
• Implement data science strategies and design experiments to test hypotheses and assumptions.
• Select and deploy ML models into production using quality metrics.
• Communicate technical findings to stakeholders and promote data literacy within the organization.

Requirements

• Experience leading analysis and modeling from inception to production deployment.
• Expertise in statistical modeling, hypothesis testing, ML, and deep learning.
• Specialization in at least one area: NLP, Computer Vision, or Generative AI.
• Proficiency in Python or R with the ability to write production-ready code.
• Experience preprocessing large volumes of structured and unstructured data.
• Must be based in Canada (Toronto).
