TL;DR

Network Administrator: Evaluating and optimizing moderately complex IP networks in a production environment with an accent on performance reconciliation, configuration of TACLANE, Watchguard, Arista, and Netgear devices. Focus on designing network systems, resolving issues, producing diagrams, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

On-site in Huntsville, AL with no remote option. Requires Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility and ability to obtain CI Poly.

What you will do

• Conduct site surveys and configure networks based on findings.
• Research and evaluate network technologies and COTS to recommend updates for currency.
• Design and plan moderately complex network systems and resource needs.
• Produce clear network diagrams and communicate architectures.
• Resolve network problems, meet deadlines, and support additional duties.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field + 4 years experience or 8 years in IP network administration; relevant certification (e.g., CompTIA Network+, CCNA).
• Experience with TACLANE, Watchguard, Arista, Netgear; major vendors' firewalls and networking equipment.
• Expertise in Layer 2/3 devices, policies, automated deployment of switches/firewalls.
• Plan, implement, support network changes; evaluate, test, maintain equipment.
• Provide technical assistance, training, documentation.
• Current Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility and CI Poly ability.
