What you will do

• Assemble, image, rack, and cable custom-built servers with non-standard configurations including latest CPUs and GPUs
• Deploy and maintain switches, routers, structured cabling across sites
• Troubleshoot hardware, network, and ISP connectivity issues end-to-end
• Select server configurations based on workloads and hardware trade-offs
• Maintain high-throughput network performance, uptime, rack layouts, power, cooling, and equipment lifecycle
• Create documentation like runbooks, diagrams, and notes; partner with engineering/operations for testing and production

Requirements

• Proficiency with enterprise network equipment (MikroTik, Cisco, Juniper, Ubiquiti, FS or similar) at administrator/engineer level
• Strong grasp of routing, switching, VLANs, high-throughput network architecture
• Solid Linux administration (system config, diagnostics, networking stack)
• Experience assembling, troubleshooting, selecting server hardware configurations
• Comfort with physical work: racking, cabling, maintaining server room environments

• Server room/small-DC design (power, cooling, layout)
• NixOS or declarative system management
• Scripting (Python, Bash)
