IT Network Manager

TL;DR

What you will do

• Lead and develop a high-performing network/IT team with coaching and growth opportunities.
• Handle hands-on configuration, deployment, and maintenance of routers, switches, firewalls, wireless, and core infrastructure.
• Design and evolve enterprise network architecture for LAN/WAN and cloud environments.
• Own complex troubleshooting, escalations, and major network/IT projects including scope, budgets, and timelines.
• Strengthen security with policies on firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and access control.
• Manage vendor relationships, documentation, and disaster recovery plans.

Requirements

• Must be a US Person; no sponsorship or relocation offered.
• Deep hands-on experience with enterprise LAN/WAN, routing, switching, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and wireless systems.
• Proficiency with routers, switches, firewalls, WLAN controllers, and cloud networking (AWS VPC/Direct Connect or Azure VNet/ExpressRoute).
• Strong network security knowledge including VPNs, IDS/IPS, and secure architecture.
• Analytical problem-solving, communication skills, and ITIL practices experience.
• Leadership in mentorship, delegation, and team management.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT/Network Engineering or equivalent experience.

Nice to have

• CCNA, CCNP, Network+ certifications.
• 7+ years progressive networking experience; 3+ years leading teams.
• Success in large-scale infrastructure projects.
