What you will do

• Work with Compositing Supervisor, Visual Effects Supervisor, and Senior/Lead Compositor to evaluate creative and technical approaches for assigned shots
• Perform compositing tasks including 2D tracking, matte extraction, layering elements, and color grading on simple to moderately difficult shots
• Maintain overall look, color balance, and quality on assigned shots and sequences for uniformity
• Collaborate with artists from other disciplines

Requirements

• Fine arts foundation such as photography and photographic lighting, with a reel demonstrating strong aesthetic skills in photo-realism, color, composition, and design
• Familiarity with VFX workflow pace and production process
• Experience with Nuke; pluses include writing Nuke gizmos/plugins and Unix familiarity
• Demonstrated desire to work well within a team
