What you will do

• Maintain and improve data pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and deployment processes for Databricks and Azure platform.
• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
• Provision and manage infrastructure with Terraform.
• Handle incident management, including communication, troubleshooting, post-mortems, and runbooks.
• Manage releases, coordinating stakeholders and ensuring production stability.
• Collaborate with data engineers and platform teams to optimize performance, costs, and scalability.

Requirements

• Location: Brazil
• Strong SQL skills for querying, optimization, and troubleshooting.
• Strong scripting in Bash and Python.
• Experience with Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipelines, projects, and repository management.
• Hands-on with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning.
• Strong Azure expertise in compute, storage, networking, and containerization.
• Experience with Databricks (Unity Catalog, Delta Lake, Lakehouse Federation).
• Solid incident and release management experience.

• Observability tools like Prometheus and Grafana.
• Background in data engineering or platforms.
• Familiarity with distributed systems and Apache Spark.
