What you will do
- Collaborate with Artistic Director, Concept Artists, and Producer to align on artistic intentions and deadlines.
- Create high-quality characters, clothes, faces, hairstyles, props, and hard-surface elements.
- Validate and integrate outsourced models using Blender/ZBrush into Unreal Engine.
- Develop material instances and textures adhering to visual language and art direction.
- Research references and solve artistic challenges creatively.
- Balance concept fidelity with aesthetic refinements and technical optimizations.
Requirements
- Strong sense of anatomy, proportions, form, shape language, and color.
- Understanding of technical constraints in game development.
- Solid knowledge of digital sculpting in ZBrush or equivalent.
- Proficiency in graphic design tools like Photoshop, Illustrator, Blender, Marvelous Designer, and After Effects.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across disciplines.
- Strong work ethic and self-direction.
Nice to have
- Experience in Unreal Engine 5.
- Interest in GAAS projects with character customization.
- Experience with asset management like Perforce/P4V or Git LFS.
- Familiarity with Agile workflows and tools like Jira or Hansoft.
- Highly creative and innovative spirit.
