What you will do

• Create expert-level character content, including models, textures, and shaders, meeting high quality and performance targets.
• Collaborate with Art Directors and Lead Artists to establish and maintain the game's art direction.
• Mentor and tutor junior artists to improve overall workflows and the content pipeline.
• Manage and review deliverables from independent and embedded Co-Dev and Ex-Dev resources.
• Research and implement new techniques to increase visual fidelity and pipeline efficiency.
• Establish performance targets and collaborate with other departments for correct engine implementation.

Requirements

• Advanced proficiency in Maya (or Max), Zbrush, and Photoshop.
• Expertise in Substance Painter, Marvelous Designer, and PBR shader workflows.
• Deep knowledge of human and animal anatomy, as well as organic and hard surface modeling.
• Ability to create both card and strand-based hair.
• Experience with node-based shader networks (e.g., Unreal Engine, Substance Designer).
• Proficiency with Perforce for source control.
