What you will do

• Design, deploy, and manage Kubernetes on bare metal, Proxmox, and Ceph platforms for engineering teams.
• Ensure hardware meets performance, scalability, and reliability requirements for edge data centers.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies for virtualization efficiency.
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues to maintain optimal performance.
• Develop and maintain IaC modules and configuration management for automation.
• Contribute to installation, migration, updates, and integration of hypervisor services.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 3-5 years production experience.
• Proven experience developing idempotent Ansible roles and playbooks.
• Proficiency in creating Terraform/Tofu modules.
• Strong GitOps mindset and in-depth Linux networking knowledge.
• Familiarity with KVM/QEMU virtualization and Ceph storage.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with VXLAN, software-defined networking, SR-IOV for smart NICs.
• Familiarity with BGP protocol and FRR or Bird.
• Experience with Terragrunt.
• Proficiency in Ansible Tower or AWX.
• Proficiency in Python.
