- Lead software test engineers in manual and automated testing of firmware, embedded software, GUI, cloud, and mobile applications.
- Define, plan, and coordinate testing activities across multiple sites following IEC 62304/82304.
- Participate in risk assessments, requirements reviews, and collaborations with hardware, quality, and system V&V teams.
- Ensure quality, robustness, and regulatory compliance of software deliverables.
- Prepare team for audits, mentor engineers, and represent work in regulatory reviews.
Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree in STEM or technical field + 7 years engineering/quality experience (or advanced degree + 5 years).
- Experience as Software Test Lead with agile teams.
- Hands-on software testing, automation, regression, and maintenance.
- Creating test strategies, plans, and reports; distilling requirements.
- U.S. work authorization at hire (sponsorship for Principal+).
Nice to have
- Agile SAFe training; familiarity with Agile testing quadrants and Squish framework.
- Python, embedded Linux, SDLC tools (JIRA, Bitbucket, Gitlab, Jenkins).
- Scoping/cost estimates; overseeing 3rd-party partners.
