TL;DR

SDET (Python/Pytest): Building robust automated test frameworks for API components and data platforms with an accent on integration, regression, and performance testing. Focus on designing end-to-end test scenarios, CI/CD pipeline integration, and ensuring quality across SDLC phases.

Location: Remote from anywhere in the U.S., excluding U.S. territories. Core hours 9AM-2PM Pacific Time. Occasional travel may be requested for most positions.

Salary: $156,000 to $209,000

What you will do

• Follow agile methodologies, participate in scrum meetings and quality audits throughout SDLC.
• Create tests for large modules or features, perform business requirement analysis from design and requirement documents.
• Develop scalable test automation frameworks and scripts using Python, Pytest, BDD; execute integration, regression, performance testing.
• Research new automated testing tools, use TestRail for test management and failure analysis.
• Work independently, collaborate across teams to drive quality initiatives and mentor others.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• 3-5 years relevant experience
• Experience with Data Platforms, Machine Learning, APIs
• Experience integrating testing with CI/CD pipelines
• P&C Insurance domain knowledge

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Linux, databases/SQL/PostgreSQL, shell scripting
• Knowledge of AWS, DevOps, AI
• Strong problem-solving and ability to articulate technical topics
• Desire to automate everything and minimize manual testing
