Location: Open to candidates in Canada and the US. Team based in Montreal. Contribute within a remote team environment.

What you will do

• Create, implement, and polish lighting for environments and gameplay spaces in line with the artistic vision
• Establish mood, tone, and visual storytelling through compelling lighting
• Collaborate with Environment Art, Gameplay, VFX, and Technical Art for cohesive visuals
• Balance artistic quality with performance and technical constraints in real-time production
• Support scene optimization, iteration, and final visual polish throughout development

Requirements

• Professional experience as a Lighting Artist in games with Unreal Engine 5
• Location: Must be in Canada or the US
• Strong understanding of dynamic and baked lighting
• Strong understanding of color, value, composition, atmosphere, and cinematic storytelling
• Experience lighting environments in modern real-time engines and production pipelines
• Strong eye for detail, visual consistency, player readability, and ability to collaborate remotely
