What you will do

• Create and implement real-time dynamic lighting for open-world environments, including day-night cycles, local lighting for interiors/exteriors/biomes, and cutscenes.
• Develop documentation and best practices for art pipeline and tools.
• Collaborate with Art Director, Lead Artist, Rendering programmers, Technical Artists, Environment artists, and VFX artists to meet visual goals.
• Maintain high visual quality for lighting within performance budgets across platforms.
• Propose creative ideas and innovative solutions for project vision.
• Mentor junior colleagues and provide feedback.

Requirements

• Proficient in English (verbal and written).
• In-depth experience as Lighting Artist in games, with advanced real-time lighting techniques.
• Deep understanding of color, light, material authoring in PBR pipelines, and color correction.
• Proficient in Adobe Photoshop or equivalent.
• Excellent technical/creative problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage time, set goals, meet deadlines, and adapt to feedback.
• Up-to-date with industry trends; portfolio with artistic abilities and previous work required.
