TL;DR

Intern - Contract Negotiation (Finance): Assists in developing and implementing business strategies to improve operational processing and productivity with an accent on process analysis and user requirements. Focus on preparing reports by collecting and analyzing data, providing user support with documentation, workflow charts, and training.

Location: Hybrid in Fort Worth, TX, United States; 2 days a week in office. We are unable to consider candidates who require visa sponsorship.

What you will do

• Assist in developing and implementing business strategies to improve operational processing and productivity.
• Analyze processes for business and user requirements.
• Provide support for users by writing and maintaining system documentation, constructing workflow charts and diagrams, and offering training.
• Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.
• Contribute to team efforts by completing special projects as needed.

Requirements

• Must commit to 40 hours/week for 10 consecutive weeks (first week of June through second week of August).
• Must participate in all GMF sponsored events for interns.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to give presentations and communicate with business leaders.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, problem-solving, and conceptual skills.
• Detail-oriented with ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines; work independently or in teams.
• Junior or Senior classification preferred; minimum 3.0 GPA; current student pursuing Bachelor’s degree or higher in business-related field.
• Above average proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access).
