Associate Transportation Analyst

What you will do

• Conduct qualitative tasks like research, stakeholder interviews, outreach, and report development
• Perform quantitative work including spreadsheet tools, dataset management, GIS mapping, data processing, and light coding/scripting
• Support statewide/regional planning, multimodal corridor studies, transit planning, economic analysis, policy analysis, asset management, freight planning, safety, grant writing, and environmental analysis
• Interface with clients and contribute to business development including networking and proposal development
• Deliver projects on-time and on-budget, manage project teams, provide feedback, and handle invoicing/progress reports
• Participate in business development initiatives, develop proposals, win themes, and maintain client relationships

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree
• 5+ years of experience in transportation engineering, planning, or related field
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Organized with ability to lead tasks independently
• Proficient narrative writing skills
• Effective presentation skills

Nice to have

• Master’s degree
• Previous or current project management or deputy project management experience
• Experience working with transportation clients in New England
• GIS experience
• Grant writing and Benefit Cost Analysis knowledge/experience
• Experience working with large datasets
