What you will do

  • Own and evolve voice/tone across product: write/edit UI copy for onboarding, tooltips, error states, and feature education
  • Conduct customer interviews to understand needs and translate into intuitive product experiences
  • Optimize onboarding, activation, and feature discovery by reducing friction through effective in-product communication
  • Collaborate with Product Management and Design to shape experiences with supportive language
  • Build writing guidelines, patterns, and frameworks for consistency and scalability
  • Align in-product messaging with go-to-market campaigns for seamless customer experience

Requirements

  • Located in the Greater Boston Area
  • 5+ years in technical writing, UX writing, or content design (preferably B2B/fintech)
  • Strong portfolio of in-product writing showing clarity, simplicity, and UX impact
  • Strategic thinking about language to drive behavior, adoption, and understanding
  • Customer-focused with experience engaging users and translating insights
  • Collaborative with project management skills; metrics-driven with KPIs and reporting
