TL;DR

Pre-Release & Intake Supervisor (Non-Profit): Oversee intake staff and manage pre-release services for individuals with incarceration experience with an accent on program compliance, client enrollment, and coordination with correctional partners. Focus on recruiting candidates, managing caseloads from application to enrollment, and ensuring accurate documentation and smooth transitions to case management.

Location: On-site in Tampa, FL. Must obtain authorization from Florida Department of Corrections and Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office to access prisons and jails.

Faith-based non-profit organization providing job placement and support services for individuals post-incarceration or on community supervision in Hillsborough, Polk, and Pasco counties.

What you will do

  • Oversee Intake staff by planning, assigning work, providing feedback, and leading weekly team meetings to meet enrollment goals and ensure compliance.
  • Partner with FDC, Sheriff's Office, and community agencies to recruit clients, conduct presentations, and collect candidate information.
  • Manage a caseload of candidates from application to enrollment, coordinate release and housing, and input data into ETO system.
  • Review documentation for accuracy, monitor timelines, ensure eligibility and funding compliance, and assist with invoicing.
  • Coordinate client transitions to Case Management and handle issues with partners and vendors.

Requirements

  • On-site in Tampa, FL with ability to access prisons/jails (requires FDC and Sheriff’s Office authorization)
  • Bachelor’s degree in social work, criminology, psychology, behavioral health, or related field (master’s preferred)
  • At least 4 years human services experience, preferably in non-profits with underserved/crisis populations
  • Proficiency in computers, strong documentation, written/verbal communication, and cultural sensitivity
  • Ability to motivate others, legally drive, lift 20 lbs, and work in office setting

Nice to have

  • Experience in recruitment and non-profit settings
  • Master’s degree
