What you will do

• Conduct and coordinate environmental training governed by USEPA, state EPA, and other agencies.
• Investigate, report, and review compliance near-misses, inspections, and testing results.
• Perform internal and external auditing of facilities, projects, and partners.
• Manage relationships with regulatory authorities, inspectors, law enforcement, and community.
• Ensure compliance through permits maintenance, audits, reviews, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Co-administer environmental systems, databases, and corporate programs across facilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in science (biology, chemistry, environmental science) or engineering (environmental, chemical), or 10+ years experience in lieu of degree
• 5+ years as environmental professional in CWA, CAA, RCRA compliance
• Knowledge of Clean Water Act, SPCC, EPCRA, RCRA, and solid waste permitting.
• Ability to read/interpret environmental rules, CFR, OSHA regulations.
• Understanding of business activities and regulatory requirements; critical thinking for compliance solutions.
