TL;DR

Tech Support Agent (2nd Level, German Speaker): Analyzing and resolving complex technical inquiries related to domains, hosting, web, and email services for the Swiss market with an accent on escalations from 1st level support and coordination with teams. Focus on troubleshooting DNS, hosting, email issues, documenting solutions, and contributing to process improvements.

Location: Completely remote (Barcelona, Spain). Proof of eligibility to work in the country you’re applying for required. No relocation or visa sponsorship.

What you will do

  • Handle technical inquiries and incidents in 2nd level support.
  • Analyze and resolve complex issues in domains & DNS, hosting, email services, and web technologies.
  • Take over escalations from 1st level support and drive to resolution.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, partners, and domain registries.
  • Document solutions and contribute to process and service quality improvements.
  • Support customers via chat, email, and phone when required.
  • Assist in project implementation and cross-functional technical projects.

Requirements

  • Native or equivalent-level German (written and spoken) – mandatory; Swiss German a strong plus.
  • Fluent English – mandatory; French or Italian an advantage.
  • Commercial or technical diploma in IT or related field.
  • Previous experience in customer service, ideally technical.
  • Strong customer-oriented mindset and team player with excellent communication.
  • Clear, structured, detail-oriented working style.
  • Fast learner with high technical affinity, particularly in web technologies and website design.

Nice to have

  • Experience with CMS systems (WordPress).
