Location: Salt Lake City, Utah, United States. Work in the office Monday-Thursday, remote on Friday. No visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Salary: $70,000 to $100,000

What you will do

• Write SQL in dbt to extract, transform, validate, and aggregate data (50% time).
• Create Tableau dashboards for business teams, charting metrics and performing exploratory analysis (30% time).
• Monitor and deploy data pipelines using Prefect.
• Drive projects by gathering requirements, implementing solutions, following best practices, and presenting results.
• Work with engineering, product, and business teams to understand industry and data model.
• Convert insights into action-oriented execution plans to grow business metrics.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics or related field.
• 2 to 4 years in a data-related role.
• Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills.
• Strong SQL knowledge (dbt and Snowflake preferred).
• Strong experience with BI tool like Tableau, Looker, or PowerBI (certification preferred).
• Familiar with data science techniques, ML models, Python, Excel, and intermediate statistics.
• Detail-oriented, curious, and willing to challenge status quo.

Nice to have

• Prior experience in financial services and alternative investments.
• Experience in business analyst or project management roles.
