The role can be based in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, France, Italy, or other European countries with a work from home arrangement. Hybrid setup combining office-based and remote work, with a minimum of two days per week in the office.

What you will do

• Evaluate user-submitted lots including titles, descriptions, pictures, and provide estimated values.
• Reject submissions professionally if needed and compile attractive auctions with team.
• Develop seller base by reviewing segments, onboarding leads, upselling, and using your network.
• Collaborate with experts and sales team to maintain transparent and fair transactions.
• Analyze auction results to improve offerings.

Requirements

• Generalist knowledge of decorative interior objects (lamps, candlesticks, mirrors, tapestries, boxes, bookends, etc.); plus for antique religious items.
• Passion for pre-owned vintage and antique objects, ability to judge repairs, restorations, and age.
• Knowledge of materials: woods, metals, silvers, etc.
• Excellent English communication.
• Thrive in fast-paced environment under pressure; team player in diverse setting.
• Great computer skills; interest in networking dealers/buyers.

Nice to have

• Documented commercial experience (price negotiations, seller agreements, sourcing leads).
• Affinity for numbers and analyzing auction results.
