What you will do

  • Design and build scalable, reliable data pipelines for streaming, batch, and real-time processing.
  • Partner with Data Science teams to create scalable PySpark workloads for advanced models.
  • Implement and optimize data models and storage using Python, SQL, and orchestration tools in cloud environments.
  • Leverage AI to automate data processing and engineering tasks.
  • Collaborate with engineers, analysts, and data scientists to deliver impactful data solutions.
  • Mentor junior engineers and evaluate new tools to enhance data services.

Requirements

  • Significant experience with Python-based data engineering projects.
  • Experience building and tuning Spark pipelines at scale.
  • Strong SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., SQL Server, MongoDB, Cassandra).
  • Modern data warehousing (e.g., Snowflake, DBT, BigQuery, ClickHouse).
  • Data orchestration tools (Airflow, Dagster, Prefect).
  • Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and event-driven architectures (Kafka, etc.).

Nice to have

  • Experience with ClickHouse in data pipelines.
  • Databricks or similar data platforms.
