TL;DR

Data Engineer (Python/Spark): Building and maintaining scalable ETL pipelines and large-scale batch processing workflows with an accent on high-performance data architectures. Focus on integrating Microsoft Fabric, Azure Databricks, and Snowflake to drive data-driven decision-making.

Location: Warsaw, Poland. Must be authorized to work in Poland without visa sponsorship.

What you will do

  • Lead and deliver scalable, high-performance data solutions to solve complex business challenges.
  • Build and maintain robust ETL pipelines and large-scale batch processing workflows using Apache Spark and Kafka.
  • Implement and manage Lakehouse architectures using Microsoft Fabric, Azure Databricks, Snowflake, and Delta Tables.
  • Ensure data quality, consistency, and reliability through profiling, validation, and optimization.
  • Translate complex business requirements into efficient technical specifications and solutions.
  • Collaborate with data scientists and business stakeholders to integrate AI/ML concepts and improve analytical capabilities.

Requirements

  • Over 4 years of experience as a Data Engineer.
  • Strong proficiency in Python and advanced knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Hands-on experience with Apache Spark or similar big data processing frameworks.
  • Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Azure Databricks, or Snowflake.
  • Proven experience working with Delta Tables and ETL processes.
  • Must be authorized to work in Poland on a full-time basis without the need for current or future visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Knowledge of modern trends in BI tools and database technologies.
