What you will do

• Build robust, scalable data pipelines and architectures for efficient ingestion, processing, and delivery of large data volumes.
• Design and implement data solutions using modern cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and frameworks like Spark and Kafka.
• Develop logical and physical data models, optimizing relational, NoSQL, time-series, and graph databases.
• Implement CI/CD and DataOps practices to ensure reliability, versioning, and automation in data workflows.
• Lead client engagements as a subject matter expert, managing stakeholders from strategy through execution.
• Mentor junior and medior consultants and contribute to hirify.global's internal technical offerings and thought leadership.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or a related technical field.
• 3-6 years of professional experience in data engineering.
• Hands-on experience with Databricks, Snowflake, and Azure.
• Fluency in English and Dutch is mandatory.
• Must have a valid work permit for the region; the company is unable to provide visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Fluency in French.
• Proven interest or experience in the Energy and Finance sectors.
