Grid Code Test Engineer (m/f/d)

What you will do

• Perform, evaluate, and document Grid Code compliance tests for wind farm projects
• Analyze test data to derive technical conclusions for compliance decisions
• Support Grid Code activities during sales and project execution
• Assess Nordex product capabilities against project-specific Grid Code requirements
• Review and improve Grid Code testing and compliance verification processes
• Contribute to product specifications and testing concepts for Grid Code compliance
• Coordinate with client experts on project-specific testing scopes and solutions

Requirements

• University degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, IT, Telecommunications, or equivalent
• Professional experience in Grid Code testing for wind farm or power plant projects
• Solid knowledge of Grid Code compliance on power plant level and control software principles
• Experience with test cases, procedures, and technical documentation in Grid Code contexts
• Structured, self-responsible, solution-oriented approach with customer focus
• Fluent English skills

Nice to have

• Experience in data analysis, testing tools, or automation
• Spanish and/or German language skills
• Intercultural collaboration skills
