What you will do

• Act as specialist for occupational safety (SiFa) per ASiG and DGUV regulation 2.
• Provide HSE advice to management and project teams on compliance with German laws like ArbSchG, BaustellV, BetrSichV.
• Perform site inspections, audits, safety assessments, and support hazard identification and risk assessments.
• Review contractor risk assessments and method statements (RAMS).
• Investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions.
• Implement ISO 45001 requirements and support environmental compliance.
• Facilitate engagement with contractors, clients, and authorities.

Requirements

• Proficient in German and English
• Degree in environmental sciences, occupational safety, or comparable technical field.
• Qualification as Fachkraft Arbeitssicherheit (SiFa) per ASiG and DGUV regulation 2.
• Minimum 5 years HSE experience in construction, infrastructure, energy, or industrial settings.
• Thorough understanding of German occupational safety laws and DGUV standards.
• Experience supporting construction or engineering projects and HSE management systems (ISO 45001).

Nice to have

• Experience in renewable energy, battery storage, or electrical infrastructure projects.
• Experience with environmental compliance and ISO 14001 systems.
• Experience in EPC or infrastructure project environments.
