What you will do

• Develop and evaluate measurement and testing methods, including NDT, specifically for rotor blades.
• Plan and execute measurements to ensure adherence to defined quality requirements.
• Procure and commission sensors, fixtures, and specialized test equipment.
• Perform failure analysis in the event of deviations and implement corrective actions.
• Create and continuously improve test concepts, standards, and safety instructions.
• Analyze tolerances (tolerance stack-up) in collaboration with design and manufacturing teams.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Materials Science, or Lightweight Engineering.
• Several years of experience in ultrasonic testing of fiber-reinforced composite components.
• Expertise in validating testing methods and preparing certification-relevant specifications.
• Practical experience in test planning, execution, and data analysis.
• Very good German and English skills.

Nice to have

• NDT certification (e.g., ISO 9712 Level 2).
• Experience with additional NDT methods.
