What you will do

• Enhance pipelines for retrieving data from external providers.
• Expand data coverage to new markets or geographies.
• Enrich the product and develop new features like real-time computations and forecasts.
• Build and improve monitoring, alerting tools, and dashboards.
• Optimize API performance for data distribution to users.
• Collaborate with data scientists and market experts on growth plans.

Requirements

• Strong command of written and spoken English.
• BSc/MSc in computer science, computer engineering or equivalent.
• 3-5 years as a data-focused Software Engineer.
• Significant experience with Python (FastAPI a plus).
• Experience with PostgreSQL or similar data stores.
• Proficiency in building and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Comfortable with Git, code reviews, and Agile methodologies.
• Understanding of performance optimization and caching strategies.
• Ability to work asynchronously with international team members.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS (or another cloud), Terraform.
• Containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of hexagonal and medallion architectures.
• Monitoring solutions (Datadog, Grafana).
