Seasonal Duty Manager (Hospitality): Support the Hostel Manager with day-to-day management of the hostel, ensuring great guest experiences and team collaboration with an accent on operational efficiency and service quality. Focus on guiding teams, handling check-ins, housekeeping, food service, and deputising for management during absences.

£13.63 per hour (25 - 42.5 hours per week, April to October 2026)

What you will do

• Guide and support team members across hostel areas, fostering collaboration and inclusivity.
• Manage guest check-ins, check-outs, food and beverage sales using operational systems.
• Perform housekeeping to maintain a clean and comfortable environment.
• Assist in food preparation and serve meals and drinks with hospitality to drive sales.
• Deputise for Hostel/Deputy Manager, overseeing daily operations in their absence.

Requirements

• Onsite presence required at Treyarnon Bay, Cornwall
• Experience working face-to-face with customers.
• Experience in hospitality or customer service, delivering quality service.
• Experience managing or leading teams (desirable).
• Ability to handle varying pressures, prioritise tasks, and manage conflicting duties.
• Basic IT skills (Microsoft Office: Word, Outlook, Excel).
• Knowledge of hirify.global's purpose and demonstration of HEART values.

Nice to have

• Food safety level 2 and APLH level 2 qualifications.
