What you will do

• Evaluate technical approaches for assigned shots in collaboration with VFX and Compositing Supervisors.
• Create high-quality completed shots, ensuring consistency in look, color balance, and overall quality.
• Collaborate with the team to determine aesthetic solutions and provide feedback during regular dailies.
• Mentor Apprentice and Junior artists, providing guidance and assistance with their shots.
• Meet defined production milestones within specified timelines.
• Solve creative and technical problems to realize the client's vision.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of relevant experience in feature films.
• Fluent in Nuke.
• Proven compositing skills demonstrated through a professional showreel.
• Strong foundation in fine arts, photography, and photographic lighting.
• Strong sense of composition, color, and design.
• Must be based in or able to work from Moore Park, Sydney, Australia.

Nice to have

• Experience with Python and/or C++.
• Ability to write Nuke gizmos.
• Degree in Computer Graphics, Fine Arts, Design, or Photography.
