Data Analyst (Capital Markets)

What you will do

• Work with business stakeholders to translate requirements into data analysis and validation tasks
• Analyze legacy and target datasets for migration and transformation
• Define and execute data validation and reconciliation procedures
• Validate migrated data for accuracy, completeness, and consistency
• Document ETL processes, data mappings, and transformation logic
• Write SQL queries to explore and analyze large datasets
• Support dashboards, reports, and downstream analytics

Requirements

• Experience in capital markets (custody, clearing, settlement, derivatives, or CCP)
• Ability to translate business requirements into structured tasks
• 3+ years with large data volumes and diverse formats
• Strong SQL for data analysis and validation
• Experience in data warehousing, dimensional modeling, reporting, BI
• Data schema design, modeling, and mappings
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Nice to have

• Experience in data migration or system transformation
• Familiarity with AWS Glue
• Experience with dbt or similar tools
• BI tools like Tableau or Power BI
• Data governance and quality frameworks
