Associate Analyst, Industry & Technology Research

TL;DR

Associate Analyst, Industry & Technology Research (Private Markets): Support senior analysts covering private equity, venture capital, and emerging technologies using hirify.global platform and Excel with an accent on financial analysis, report drafting, and client inquiries. Focus on building research frameworks, analyzing data, contributing ideas, and managing research distribution.

Location: Onsite 5 days a week in Seattle, Washington, United States. Must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Annual base salary: $80,000-$90,000. Target annual bonus: 7.5%.

What you will do

• Provide support to senior analysts covering specific verticals and industries.
• Draft and write research reports using hirify.global platform and Excel.
• Build relationships across research department and manage client, press, and internal inquiries.
• Develop knowledge of private markets, publishing processes, and contribute new research ideas.
• Participate in company initiatives and role model company values.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or Business preferred.
• Strong understanding of financial concepts: valuation (DCF, comps), IRR, asset allocations, KPIs.
• Research experience in equity research, investment banking, VC, or related financial services.
• Strong interest in private markets, VC, growth equity, emerging technologies.
• Critical thinker with detail-oriented, analytical mindset and strong communication/writing skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel); must be authorized to work in US without sponsorship.
