Location: Flexible remote work environment. Travel expectations: 10–20% for executive meetings and key industry events.

Salary: $295,000 – $365,000 OTE + equity, based on experience, skills, and location

What you will do

• Own technical strategy for lighthouse deals including data consolidation and infrastructure migrations engineered for real-world scale.
• Translate infrastructure decisions into business impact for executive stakeholders.
• Uncover precise engineering requirements from business goals and prescribe infrastructure interventions.
• Build relationships with key ISVs and define reference architectures for optimal platform performance.
• Chair quarterly Product Summit to prioritize vertical roadmap using field evidence.
• Direct engineering team to build high-leverage assets like scalable reference architectures.

Requirements

• 10+ years in cloud infrastructure, platform engineering, or distributed systems
• Executive presence to present technical roadmaps to C-Suite
• Product-minded leadership with experience defining platform strategy
• Deep expertise in GPU architectures (H100 vs. L40s), Kubernetes, high-performance file systems (Lustre, WEKA), and networking (InfiniBand/Ethernet)
• Inference optimization including batch sizes, quantization, KV caching, and latency tradeoffs
• Industry fluency in at least two M&E sub-sectors: Gaming, Multimodal Generative Models, AdTech, or VFX
