Location: Hybrid, based in New York City (2-3 days per week in office). Must be based in the NYC metro area or able to relocate independently within 90 days.

Salary: $230,000 - $288,000

What you will do

• Define and execute the platform infrastructure strategy, focusing on cloud-native, distributed systems and developer experience.
• Lead and scale the platform engineering organization, driving execution practices across Product, Design, Security, and Data.
• Build self-service platform capabilities and tooling to improve developer productivity and accelerate time-to-market.
• Champion DevOps and SRE practices to ensure high system availability, observability, and efficient incident management.
• Leverage AI and automation to enhance infrastructure efficiency and reliability.
• Manage vendor partnerships and drive infrastructure cost optimization and capacity planning.

Requirements

• Deep expertise in cloud-native architectures (AWS, GCP, or Azure), distributed systems, and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Kubernetes).
• Proven experience leading and scaling platform or infrastructure engineering teams in complex, high-growth environments.
• Strong track record of implementing DevOps and SRE practices at scale.
• Experience building internal platforms and tooling that enhance developer productivity.
• Demonstrated ability to drive measurable outcomes such as uptime, MTTR, and cost optimization.
• Strong cross-functional leadership skills with the ability to influence at the executive level.
