Location: Boston, MA - Hybrid schedule (Monday/Friday remote, Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday in-office)

Salary: $125,000 – $135,000 (base in MA)

What you will do

• Research, experiment with, and prototype ML algorithms and statistical models for pattern recognition, trend analysis, optimization, and predictive modeling
• Collaborate with engineers to build scalable models that perform on high-volume data and deploy to production
• Leverage big data technologies like Hadoop and Spark to process large-scale datasets
• Stay aligned with client-driven and internal projects in ad tech
• Participate in design and code reviews for data science projects
• Develop understanding of ad tech business to ensure relevant and impactful solutions

Requirements

• PhD in a quantitative discipline (mathematics, statistics, computer science, or engineering)
• Strong understanding of predictive analytics, statistical modeling, data mining (theory, algorithms, applications)
• Able to make intelligent approximations and design effective, scalable mathematical models
• Ability to identify assumptions and limitations in models and assess impact on decisions
• Proficiency in Python and SQL (Scala is a plus)
• Location: Boston, MA with hybrid schedule requiring 3 in-office days (Tue-Thu)
