Salary: $167,100 – $248,700 annually

What you will do

• Develop AI solutions and recommendation systems using generative models for Sponsored Brands.
• Invent and design scientifically-complex software systems, writing critical parts of the scientific novelty.
• Define the long-term science vision and roadmap for the advertising business based on customer needs.
• Collaborate with engineers and product managers to design, implement, and launch AI solutions end-to-end.
• Design and conduct A/B experiments and perform in-depth data analyses to evaluate solutions.
• Mentor junior scientists and stay current with advancements in modeling techniques.

Requirements

• PhD, or Master's degree with 6+ years of applied research experience.
• 3+ years of experience building machine learning models for business applications.
• Proficiency in Java, C++, Python, or related languages.
• Strong experience with neural deep learning methods and machine learning.
• Must be based in the USA (New York or Seattle)

Nice to have

• Experience with modeling tools such as R, scikit-learn, Spark MLLib, MxNet, Tensorflow, numpy, or scipy.
• Experience with large-scale distributed systems such as Hadoop or Spark.
