What you will do

• Perform regular equipment inspections and data logging.
• Report abnormalities or potential issues and respond to them as directed.
• Take independent action when necessary to protect equipment and ensure personnel safety.
• Support emergency operations when needed.
• Operate the refuse crane, responsible for mixing waste in the pit and maintaining proper feed levels in boiler hoppers.

Requirements

• Prior experience operating heavy industrial machinery or strong mechanical aptitude.
• Formal technical or apprenticeship training preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to read and interpret operational, safety, and training materials.
• Physically capable of working in an industrial environment (mobility, vision, hearing).
• Must be able to respond appropriately in emergency situations.
