Mechanical Piping Coordinator

What you will do

• Plan, issue, and track progress of Construction (CWP) and Installation (IWP) work packages.
• Coordinate with discipline superintendents to ensure field alignment and buy-in for work packages.
• Generate material takeoffs and bills of material for construction requirements.
• Verify installed commodities and monitor contractor look-ahead schedules weekly.
• Assist in resolving technical issues related to RFI interpretation, design, and schedule.
• Support document control and punch list reporting to ensure high quality standards.

Requirements

• Must be able to work on-site in Newnan, GA.
• Typically 4+ years of experience in construction management or facility construction.
• Understanding of engineering drawings, cost control, and scheduling.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage field-related ambiguity.
• Proven ability to work in physically demanding environments including climbing and walking uneven terrain.
• Proficiency in Excel and strong organizational communication skills.
