Engineering Manager, Fullstack

Engineering Manager (Fullstack): Leading the engineering team to develop features and improvements to the hirify.global Elements product, primarily using Typescript with NodeJs and React, in a secure, well-tested, and performant way with an accent on building high performing team culture and growing team members. Focus on diagnosing and preventing performance and optimization issues, and scaling knowledge through mentorship.

Location: London, England, United Kingdom. Hybrid working model.

What you will do

• Lead the engineering team to develop features and improvements to the hirify.global Elements product.
• Analyze complex problems and convert them into actionable tasks for the team.
• Collaborate with Product Management and other stakeholders to maintain a high bar for quality.
• Collaborate in building the product and technology roadmap with peers, product managers, designers, and stakeholders.
• Guide the team in solving technical problems with large scope and complexity.
• Lead and create a diverse, dynamic, collaborative, transparent culture where everyone's ideas and opinions are equally valued.

Requirements

• Experience leading engineering teams delivering production-quality products in fast-paced, global environments.
• Strong leadership skills in setting vision, fostering autonomy, mentoring, and driving collaboration across global, fast-paced environments.
• Experience leading teams to deliver production-quality products according to industry standards.
• Hands-on technical leader with strong coding skills and a pragmatic approach.
• Background in cloud-native environments (AWS serverless preferred), microservices, and event-driven architectures.
• Extensive experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, and React.
