What you will do

• Own and continuously evolve IG's Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework, anticipating emerging risks across business lines, geographies, and regulatory jurisdictions.
• Define and steward the Group's risk taxonomy, risk appetite statements, and tolerance thresholds, working closely with the CRO, CFO, and Board Risk Committee.
• Prepare and present forward-looking Risk Reporting at the Executive Risk Committee (monthly) and to the Board Risk Committee (quarterly) and other relevant management committees.
• Champion a strong risk culture across the organisation, promoting risk awareness and accountability at all levels through training, communication, and behavioural frameworks.
• Serve as IG's senior representative on enterprise risk matters in engagements with the FCA and other global regulators.

Requirements

• Significant progressive experience in enterprise or operational risk within a regulated financial services firm.
• Deep knowledge of enterprise risk frameworks, risk appetite design, and risk taxonomy across a complex, multi-entity group.
• Strong command of UK regulatory requirements, particularly FCA expectations including Consumer Duty, SYSC, and Senior Managers & Certification Regime (SM&CR).
• Proven experience preparing and presenting to Board-level risk committees and engaging directly with regulators.
• Experience leading or significantly contributing to risk governance forums at ExCo or Board level.
