Location: Hybrid (UK). In-person participation is required throughout the year for offsites and collaboration.

Salary: £95,490 — £106,100 GBP

What you will do

• Run CBPL’s entity-level risk framework covering financial, operational, technology, and regulatory risks.
• Lead RCSAs, incident/issue management, and risk-appetite monitoring for the UK business.
• Provide 2LoD risk challenge on products and change initiatives for the CBPL Risk Committee and Board.
• Design and embed hirify.global’s global Operational Risk Management framework, including scenario analysis and KRIs.
• Coordinate global ORM program areas and act as a trusted partner to global product and operations teams.
• Champion a strong risk culture and coach first-line leaders on prudential and operational risk.

Requirements

• 7–10+ years of risk-management experience in UK-regulated financial services.
• Deep knowledge of operational risk concepts including 2LoD, RCSA, and risk appetite.
• Practical experience with UK regulations such as SYSC, MiFIDPRU/IFPR, and Consumer Duty.
• Proven ability to engage with Boards, senior management, and regulators.
• Ability to responsibly use generative AI tools in daily workflows.
• Must be based in the UK or be able to participate in-person as required.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with GRC platforms like RSA Archer.
• Prior exposure to crypto, digital assets, or fintech businesses.
• Relevant qualifications such as IRM, FRM, PRM, or CFA.
