Location: This is a Utah-based hybrid position which will require some regular in-office days each week.

What you will do

• Collaborate with designers and the engineering team to create complex web UI components and pages.
• Research technologies and engineer complete solutions to problems.
• Propose and implement performance optimizations and scaling strategies.
• Contribute to the ongoing improvement of systems and processes.
• Integrate AI into daily tasks using IDEs and tools like Github Copilot, Windsurf, ChatGPT, Claude, Sonnet, Grok, and Gemini.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.

Requirements

• 7+ years of solid experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• 5+ years of recent experience using React to build high-quality interactive user interfaces.
• Demonstrated ability to produce user interfaces from high-resolution mocks and build modern UI components from scratch.
• Experience leading projects with multiple developers.
• Solid understanding of web standards and cross-browser web development best practices.
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
• Familiarity with AI tools like OpenAI APIs and prompt engineering.
• Skilled in integrating RESTful or GraphQL APIs.

Nice to have

• Excellent communication skills with PHP developers and UI Designers.
• Service-minded attitude.
• Proven ability to lead technical projects, including defining scope and taking ownership.
• Experience in Typescript, State Management tools (Redux, react-sweet-state, etc), and design systems like Material-UI.
• Experience with JavaScript testing with tools like Jest, Mocha, Vitest, etc.
• Experience in developing Software as a Service (fast release cycles that still support an existing userbase).
• Proficient in integrating AI-powered features into front-end workflows.
• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or a related degree.
