Senior Security Infrastructure Engineer (Fintech)

Location: Remote in Brazil

Salary: $5,000–$9,500 gross per month in USD

What you will do

• Lead vulnerability management across infrastructure, platforms, and applications, including scanning, dependency analysis, validation, triage, and remediation coordination.
• Build and operate SIEM/XDR capabilities, including log ingestion, detection rules, alert tuning, and investigation workflows.
• Investigate security incidents, perform root cause analysis, and drive long-term fixes across cloud infrastructure and applications.
• Design detection strategies for suspicious activity and data exfiltration using application and database telemetry.
• Lead threat modeling, security design reviews, infrastructure hardening, CI/CD security, and software and container supply chain risk reduction.
• Develop security automation, including appropriate use of AI, and implement controls aligned with PCI DSS, SOC 2, and other compliance requirements.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in security, software, or infrastructure engineering, including securing cloud-based production systems.
• Hands-on experience with vulnerability management, security incident response, threat modeling, and security design reviews.
• Experience with SIEM platforms such as Wazuh, Splunk, or ELK, including detection engineering and monitoring.
• Strong knowledge of AWS, Linux, and Kubernetes, including security architecture, hardening, and operational practices.
• Experience with CI/CD hardening, software supply chain security, and tools such as Snyk, Trivy, or Grype.
• Demonstrated experience using Claude or equivalent large language model tools is required.

Nice to have

• Experience tuning detection rules, reducing alert noise, and improving investigation workflows.
• Knowledge of cloud-native security controls, IAM, network segmentation, telemetry pipelines, and security analytics.
• Experience aligning technical security work with regulatory and compliance expectations.
