What you will do

• Lead and operate vulnerability management across infrastructure, platforms, and applications.
• Build and mature SIEM/XDR capabilities, including detection rule development and alert tuning.
• Investigate and respond to security incidents, performing root cause analysis and driving long-term fixes.
• Design and implement detection strategies for suspicious activity using application and database telemetry.
• Lead threat modeling exercises and security design reviews to identify risks early.
• Develop automation to improve efficiency in security operations, detection, and response.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in security, software, or infrastructure engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience in vulnerability management and SIEM platforms.
• Deep expertise in AWS, Linux, and Kubernetes security architecture.
• Experience with CI/CD hardening and mitigating software supply chain risks.
• Knowledge of compliance frameworks such as PCI DSS and SOC 2.
• Ability to investigate issues directly using logs and system-level data.

Nice to have

• Experience designing and tuning detection rules to reduce alert noise.
• Familiarity with container and dependency security tools like Snyk, Trivy, or Grype.
• Experience using automation and AI to reduce manual effort in security operations.
